Molly, as soon as the results were finished, examined them. Then she frowned. "This is ridiculous!" she sighed. She put the results down. "They're perfectly normal, but they can't be!" Molly rolled her eyes. Then she paused. "Have you guessed what it may be yet?" she asked Sherlock, hopefully he had found something out.
Molly began to think. This was not normal. The blood was a strange color, there was no sign of any struggle on the body but it was for sure that the person wasn't alive, sadly. Molly was rather confused, but she supposed she had such a normal brain she would be confused by something like this...something easier than this perhaps. Molly watched Sherlock for a moment and wondered if he had found anything, as he had a way of just knowing things. This still puzzled Molly, whenever she tried to figure out how he did it. She'd pretty much given up doing that by now as she had ended up confusing herself just thinking about it. She was so basic that way.
Molly looked around the lab. Why was it so boring today? She kind of wanted to see something, anything actually, in the wrong place for something to do that confused her, but not for long at least. But she was just stuck doing nothing now, or in a case doing something that she was confused by and couldn't stop being confused by.

"This is ridiculous!" Sherlock rolled his eyes, evidentally Molly still wasn't looking for the correct items. As Sherlock set to work, he went about identifying the protein on the blood cells. It was this that lead to different blood types. he already knew someone had tried to make fake blood, but some more knowledge should strengthn the conclusion. "They're perfectly normal, but they can't be!" "You're missing out the obvious." Sherlock explained, still examing the blood, testing it to see if he would get the results he expected.
One important thing in science was not to test to prove your hypothesis, but to try and disprove it. So Sherlock was looking for signs that it was all one blood type, not more than one. Then, he would check to see if there were any other reasons behind this, although he could see none, other than the idea that he was trying to disprove. As the results started to come in, Sherlock gave a smile. His disproving did not work, it just supported his idea. It appeared that the real cause was as obvious as it had first appeared.
The blood type of the man was not very common, A-. But it was still useful. They had wanted to get as much of it as they could, and doing so had taken too much. They had tried using the most common blood type, which they had plenty of, O+, but it did not work with his system, they tried over more common, which were all positives. But it was too late and the man died. "The man's Bood type was O-. Only 7% of the british population have that. He was giving his blood to an ameutur blood group and in their enthusiasm, they took to much." Sherlock commented.
"You can see the sign of giving blood on his left arm, because he was left handed. The blood appears to not be normal due to the fact that they had added some of the same chemical compounds as blood in a last attempt to disguise their mistake and get his blood levels back into the normal range. They also used a range of positive blood bags that they had, unaware that the body would reject it. They ahd to continue adding blood, though, as they did not wish the lack of blood to be noticed. They didn't retirn his own blood because they wanted that for patients who had a chance of living." Simple.
