Molly winced as she looked at the clock and realized she had to go and get some DNA from a patient to analyze. Sometimes Molly wondered why she even bothered with working here. She began to walk towards the door, clearing a few things up as she went. After she'd made her way up and then back down to the lab with the DNA, she put the DNA in the analyzer and waited. After a few long minutes, the results appeared, and Molly began to walk straight back out again, up the stairs towards the proper ward. She gave the results to the boss and he went towards a couple to explain, when someone caught Molly's eye.

John sprung up from bed. Somehow he had ended up completely in the sheets, his blanket lying next to his bed. The only light was the very slim slivers emanating from between his shades. He got up and opened the blinds, shielding his eyes from the rays of light.
"Sherlock, I'm making a pot of tea, want a cup?" John yelled, while he checked his blog. Nothing being found, he closed it with a sigh.
"Better make that tea," he said quietly to himself. Did Sherlock say he wanted some tea?
"Sherlock!" He yelled again.
No reply.
John got up to check for himself.
"Sherlock," he said as he walked into the room. Nobody was around. He brought his hand to his forehead due to grief.
"Where's he off to now. Mrs. Hudson! I'll be out for a moment!" He yelled, putting on his coat. He opened the door outside and felt the cool chilling air rush over him. He'd check the hospital first.
He walked instead of taking a cab. As he came to the hospital, he decided to check the morgue real quick. He came in to find Molly.
"Oh hello, Molly."

It was John who she had seen come in, and she figured he was probably looking for Sherlock or something along those lines. Molly smiled at the doctor when he spoke.
"Hello, John." Molly replied. "How are you?" she asked. She didn't often talk to John and so she had settled for the most simple and general thing she could think of.

"Good. Well, you haven't seen Sherlock, have you. He's not in the flat."
John thought for a moment.
"Oh, wait, how are you?"
John wasn't used to talking to Molly.

Molly smiled.
"I'm good thank you. But no, he hasn't been in...are you sure he's not at the flat?" she asked.
Molly tried to think of the possible places Sherlock would go, but failed, because he was always very mysterious like that.

This might come off as a complement to Molly.

Wasn't exactly a compliment, as John had a point; Sherlock was with her quite a lot of the time, when they were in the lab together.
Molly thought for a moment, then looked at John properly.
"Can you think of any other places he goes, apart from here?" she asked.

Molly chewed her lip thoughtfully.
"That's true, he would tell you that, because you are one of his closest friends." she said.
Then she kept thinking.

John remembered when Sherlock had told him that he was his only friend. He thought it would be a waste of breathe to tell her.
John brainstormed places Sherlock normally was.
"He might be bugging Greg for cases?"

"Maybe. He was getting rather bored without them, I noticed." Molly said.
She considered. "If he isn't back after a long time do you want me to help you look for him?" Molly offered.
