Not really. I've missed the abundance of kilts, though.
"Oh, yeah," John said while giggling. He looked at Sherlock who had a completely straight face.
Ah, of course. Not as important as identifying 243 different typed of tobacco ash. Silly me.
John looked at Sherlock's stern face, which had got slightly red. It was like Irene all over again, but without the "public exposing".
"Um, okay, I'll go grab some milk."
Don't worry, John. You don't have to go anywhere; I've got milk in my fridge for tea.
"Oh, thank you so much."
He watched as Karen departed for her flat.

"Not really. I've missed the abundance of kilts, though." Despite never having been to Scotland, Sherlock knew that this was not true. Therefore it was probably a statement that was meant to be humorus. A joke. Sherlock did not find it amusing, however he noticed that John was giggiling. "Oh, yeah," It hadn't appeared funny at all and Sherlock wondered if he ever should learn to laugh at a joke. But that seemed like a waste of brain space, a waste of his hard drive, so he dismissed that thought immediatly.
"Ah, of course. Not as important as identifying 243 different typed of tobacco ash. Silly me." Sherlock was suprised to see that she remembered that it was 243, unlike John, and he turned to give John a very pointed look. Why couldn't his flatmate remember that? "Um, okay, I'll go grab some milk." That did seem reasonable. For all Sherlock knew, John might want to have some milk in the flat. It wasn't needed, but it could be useful. Sherlock was always willing to leave the useful and not needed items to someone.
"Don't worry, John. You don't have to go anywhere; I've got milk in my fridge for tea." Sherlock looked over to Karen as she spoke, and really hoped that he wasn't invited, it didn't appear as such, any way. "Oh, thank you so much." Sherlock glanced over to John as he spoke, the detective watching both of them for a second before speaking. "Well I can see that I'm not needed. I'll go start a new expirment in the kitchen, as you won't be needing it." Sherlock said, the last bit to John, before turning around with his bags full of chemicals and attempting to make a get-a-way.

Karen came back just in time to hear Sherlock say, ""Well I can see that I'm not needed. I'll go start a new expirment in the kitchen, as you won't be needing it."
"Wonderful! Now you can keep John and me company while we drink tea in your kitchen and you do whatever experiment you please," Karen said, mostly because she knew it would annoy him. She grinned. "My flat is a mess in any case, you don't mind, do you John?" she asked, not wanting to intrude but finding the pair fascinating.

John could see that Sherlock didn't like her. He was getting severely annoyed.
My flat is a mess in any case, you don't mind, do you John?
"That's fine. We can stay up here," he said, pulling out a seat for her.

"Wonderful! Now you can keep John and me company while we drink tea in your kitchen and you do whatever experiment you please," Sherlock stared at the model, he didn't like her at all. He really hoped this wasn't going to be another one of John's many interests. Sherlock decided that he was going to do his best to seperate the copper sulphate, so he could get sulphur hanging around the kitchen. Mrs Hudson had told him not to, but what happens if he found out something important from that? Of course, he wasn't going to tell anyone about his plans for the experiment.
"My flat is a mess in any case, you don't mind, do you John?" Sherlock's gaze was emotionless, although he was annoyed. Turning away, he entered the kitchen and and started to take out the chemicals. Leaving the Coppersulphate out, a beautiful blue liquid, he packed everything else way, before searching for his chlorine. Finding that, he took it out and placed it by the Coppersulphate. Maybe it would be interesting enough to see how long it took for them to realise his plans. Now for the bunseen burner to help get the reaction started...

As Sherlock left she turned to John, chuckling. "He doesn't like me at all, does he?" she asked already knowing the answer. "Although I was deliberately trying to annoy him so my bad. Good to know I succeeded, though."

He doesn't like me at all, does he?
"Well, it's not that he doesn't like you, just that he's not so keen on new people," John said, smiling.
Although I was deliberately trying to annoy him so my bad. Good to know I succeeded, though.
John chuckled. "Yeah you succeeded all right."
"So, big model, everyone adores you, how is it?"

Sherlock was fine, preparing his sulphur 'experiment' in the kitchen. It would probably cause the kitchen to stink for a good few hours, and probably the flat as well. Getting different test tubes, he created different concentrations of chlorine, just to make sure that it could be classed as an experiment, even if it was a very simple on. Then, later he could destroy those pictures that the children had given him. It had been a rather bad day so far. The pictures could burn in the fire. John didn't need to see them, even though the children had laso asked Sherlock to show them to John.
Putting them on the side, far away from him, because he couldn't stand the drawings by the ten and seven year old, Sherlock started with the lowest concentration and started to heat it up. It began to bubble after a while and the smell similar to rotten eggs was slowly given off. Sulphur. When no more gas was give off, Sherlock made a note of it and started on the next concentration. Hopefully there would be a nice strong smell of sulphur in the flat, then he would burn the pictures.

"So, big model, everyone adores you, how is it?"
"In a word; tiring," she chuckled. "You should see the blogs. Never, ever google yourself. That's what I've learned. From experience. And how 'bout you? You and Mr Grumpy Face over there's been in every paper for the last couple of weeks."

The sulphur experiment was coming on nicely, and Sherlock continued to make his notes as Copper Chloride and sulphur was created from the reaction. Soon the air was heavy with the smell of sulphur and Sherlock was only just managing to not choke on it because he was used to strong smelling chemicals. Finally, he completed the experiment, and hopefully the oder would be strong enough to last for quite a while. Hopefully for the next 24 hours, just to be on the safe side. In case Karen did not get the message that he did not enjoy her actions.
Now that he had finished making sure that there was an overpowering sulphur smell in the flat, Sherlock tidied away, putting the copper sulphate in a jam jar for later use. Then, he took the two dreadful pictures of him and John into the living room and started a fire. He didn't really care if the children had asked him to put the pictures up on John's site. The combination of a boring case, children who only read John's blog and Karen being annoying was not a good one.

"I'm sure it'll die down, eventually," Karen said and started coughing on the fumes coming from 221B. "Smells like.. sulphur and something burning, what the hell?" she managed to say between coughs.

John coughed into his jumper.
Smells like.. sulphur and something burning, what the hell?
John put his hands over his face.
"SHERLOCK! Ugh.. can we go down to your flat?"

"SHERLOCK! Ugh.. can we go down to your flat?"
"Yeah, 'course. Better than suffocating out here. Come on," Karen said, walking to her flat, coughing. She unlocked the door for them and they slipped inside. "Thank god... You know, I've always taken breathing for granted but you never miss the water 'till the well runs dry.

Sherlock started lighting the fire now, making sure that the flames would be able to destroy the paper rapidly. It was then that he heard John's voice belowing down. The experiment seemed to be fufilling its purpose. "SHERLOCK! Ugh.. can we go down to your flat?" Sherlock's inittial response was "No!" Because he really didn't want to have more stupidity in the room, then he decided that it might actually be useful, seeing what exactly would happen when Karen was faced with a load of sulphur. Maybe she would be willing to be nicer.
"Unless you must!" He added, still trying to get the fire to catch. He needed to destroy those annoying pictures. Sherlock did pause and think. Neither of the two knew that Sherlock had had a bad day, so it wasn't completely fair to go and destroy their day. But then again life wasn't fair.
