Dear Journal,
Today I got caught up in trying to catch Jake Smith, and met another famous detective, Sherlock Holmes. I got shot in the shoulder, but I'm fine now. Sherlock managed to get Jake arrested. But at least I slowed Jake down while I texted the police. It's alright to know that I at least helped a bit. Charlie and Brenda came immediately after I (using tweezers and a bandage provided by the ambulance. I hate it when people fuss over my wounds. I was fine, and I still am!) I healed my shoulder. At least, I stopped it bleeding. Poor Charlie, he was so worried! I love the kid though. Brenda was worried too. So when we got home she cooked her famous spaghetti bolognaise. I loved it, Brenda is a brilliant cook. She says I am too. I kind of am, actually. Brenda loves cooking though so she cooks more than I do. But I do cook sometimes, but Brenda doesn't mind her cooking most of the time. She loves it. She often makes cakes and cookies too, so we're so lucky. After, we watched Help I'm A Fish with Charlie, then I tucked Charlie in bed, five and a half hours ago. Brenda went about 2 hours ago.
Well, I have to go, it's 1:00 AM and I am tired. More than you can imagine.
