OC
Name: Maya Smith
Age: 16
Job/Occupation: School.
Appearance: Dark brown hair and green eyes. 5`2 in height, thin. Often seen wearing skirts and sneakers, or anything except dresses. Her hair is most of the time in plaits.
Personality:
History: Maya was abandoned when she was a baby, and was taken into her aunt's care until she was 6, when she was put into a children's home. She hated it there at first, but after a while she began to fit in there. She made friends with everyone, and got her first crush at the age of 10, called Johnny. They had been best friends since she got there. He supported her, and then he was the first person to hear the songs she wrote and played on her guitar, and when she sang them he always complimented her and made her feel better. Maya began writing and singing songs about what she felt in real life, and when she was 10, she sang a song about Johnny, and about being in love, not mentioning his name of course. Later on, he and his sister Jody were fostered, and Maya was so upset, everyone heard her singing sad love songs. For 2 days, she only ate in her room and didn't interact or talk with anything or anyone except her guitar and songbook. But when Johnny called, Maya felt better. He moved back in when they were 13, and so she was still happy. Her other best friend Carmen eventually said she had to tell Johnny her feelings. So Maya went up on stage at her school play, and said her song was for Johnny, and sang and played her love song. She and Johnny were together for a while until he passed away at 15. Now, a year later, Maya is still sensitive, and still lives in the same care home..
Anything else: Likes to write stories and poems as well as songs.
RP Sample: Maya kicked a can, with a sigh. She still missed Johnny despite there having been a year since he died. She chewed her lip to stop herself from crying. She had done enough of that lately and her eyes were sore.
She looked around her as she began to walk back to the Children's home, reading all the graffiti words and rhymes and such as she went. She ran her finger over the colored wall, not caring if it was wet or not. Luckily though, it wasn't.
Maya trooped into the Children's home, looking gloomy, and then she frowned as she spotted a man in there, looking at all the kids. She dropped her bag in it's place and walked into the living room past him, sitting with Carmen and not paying any attention to him.
But she knew he was looking at her.
