Amy was on the job. The twelve year old was in her normal ragardly clothes, several sizes too big for her, but keeping her warm, all the least. The weather was overcast and the temperature had to be below 10 degrees, and probably closer to 0, but that wasn't too bad. Amy had been through worse. At least there wasn't any snow, she shivered as she remembered having to survive without any money from the Homeless Network and in the snow. That had been hard and Amy had felt certain that she would not be able to make it through the winter.
But now the Homeless Network was back, with Sherlock's return to life. So she had her job and hopefully she would be able to get a warm plate of food or a warm drink. She'd been put on watch for a Seraphina Blake, she had a description and a small cutting from a news article stuffed into her pocket. She had several ideas of features that should identify the woman. She knew others were looking out for Moriarty and various other criminals, but Amy felt some pride in looking for this criminal, she had been able to read some of the article.
The article and some knowledge she was given, told her that Seraphina was incredibly good at crime, like Moriarty, and she had been yet to be put on the case of him or his hench man. Amy knew enough to keep an eye out for them, but to activly search them out was different. This was her first major case. Amy sat, leaning against the wall, looking at her feet, but actively searching the faces of people through her long wild hair. Hopefully she would be able to eat tonight.

Sara was absolutely freezing, but managing to keep warm in her clothes. She has a cardigan and a thick furry coat over her, and she had jeans on, and furry boots, topping it off with a hat and scarf. Her hair was flowing wildly in the wind, but that didn't bother Sara at all.
She looked around her. It wasn't snowing, but it certainly felt like it would. She watched everyone bustling round in hats and scarves and gloves and she couldn't help but smile. She hadn't gone as far as wearing gloves, but she now figured that she could have thought of it. As she walked, she felt herself bump into someone.
Damn, was she clumsy. "Sorry about that!" she said to the girl she had bumped into. She was little. Whoops, even worse. Sara gave her a small smile, pulling at her hat to stop it coming off in the wind. Some of her hair went up in it. Oops.

Amy watched as people moved, wondering if she should try and pickpocket someone. No one ever seemed to mind and it did give her a few more pounds to have in her pocket and it wasn't like she didn't hand wallets back to the police after getting enough pounds for a few bits of food. Still, people didn't seem to mind that too much, they did appear to be glad to get most of their money back, whenever Amy saw them getting the wallets back. That always made her happy, despite having caused their innitial discomfort and problem.
As she sat, looking at her feet, Amy was startled by someone walking into her and she shot up, her eyes looking wildly around. Mostly people steered clear of her, as if she carried some disease, it was very uncommon for someone to not notice her. "Sorry about that!" Amy looked up at the source of the voice, his brown eyes nervously flickering over the figure, wondering if it would be one of the social workers, trying to hand her in to some dreadful life. For a second, be was too scared to even talk or move.
But then she noticed that this person matched some of the features of the criminal she was meant to be keeping an eye on. Amy couldn't go back and look at the picture, but she was pretty sure that it was the same person. "Got a spare coin, Miss?" She asked, trying to appear very hungry and cold, which wasn't very hard considering her current position. "A nice warm cup of pasta or hot chocolate wouldn't go amiss." She said, wondering if she would get attacked by this woman for the question. This was her first serious criminal and first confrontation.

Sara thought for a moment. Seriously, she thought to herself, it's a cold and hungry girl..don't be so mean. So, despite her evilness, Sara rooted in her pocket and handed over a few coins for the girl. After all, she must have been hungry and very cold. "There you are."
She thought for a moment, then spoke again. "Are you homeless, then? What's your name?" she asked. Not a usual conversation, but it was a start. After all, what harm could a little girl do to a criminal like Sara? Nothing, Sara figured. She probably wouldn't even try. Sara could be rather underestimating at times.

Amy took a step back as the older woman looked at her, worried that she might get attacked, the girl leaning against the wall. At least she was in the public, not hidden away where she could easily be attacked. But she had survived being attacked before, so Amy wasn't completely defenceless. Although she didn't know what to do if Seraphina wanted to kill Amy. The young girl would not kill and that could leave her in a worse condition of conflict did come to it. But she was still in the public and there were others, so she should be safe.
But then Seraphina gave the young girl some coins "There you are." and Amy smiled. "Thank you, miss!" Amy said, real happiness in her voice. The coins should go a long way. Might last her two meals, which was something that she was hoping for. "Are you homeless, then? What's your name?" Amy looked up, her eyes a bit worried. "I'm Amy. May I ask your name?" Amy said, giving a smile. She had no other name but Amy, although Lord of the Rings did make Amy wish she had been called Awen.
