Renae parked her bike near a convenient lamp post and climbed off. After kicking the stand down she wound the bike lock around the post and clicked it shut. Satisfied her bike would be going nowhere soon, the tall blonde grabbed a couple of shopping bags from the basket and turned toward the supermarket.
The heels of her boots clicked on the road as she crossed to the other side. She stepped onto the sidewalk and walked through the supermarket doors. She winced and rubbed at her arms. Why's it always so cold in these places! she wondered silently.
Pulling her jacket tighter around herself, Renae made her way to the cereals. She perused the shelves, biting her lower lip. So many choices ... Why?! I hate making choices! Renae stepped backward to allow herself a better look at the seemingly limitless supply of breakfast cereal.
Her eyes wandered almost idly over the bright labels and catchy names. "I cannot believe there are this many ways to 'break your fast'," she muttered under her breath. "Surely it's the one simple task in anyone's life. But, of course, they have to make even that difficult!"
After another whole minute, accompanied with an annoyed intake of breath, Renae grabbed the closest cereal box and shoved it into one of her shopping bags. "Let's just hope the milk doesn't sit with a hundred relatives!"
As she turned away from the shelf ... she crashed straight into someone who was walking the other way. "Oh, I'm so sorry!" she exclaimed, her face flushing from embarrassment. "Are you alright?"

Matt was shopping. It was freezing. He had no idea why he shopped in cold shops. He just picked the things up that he needed and put them in his shopping trolley. He walked down the cereals isle, picking up some and putting them in the trolley. He turned to the shelves opposite and put a few things in his trolley. He looked at all the things.
Hmm, maybe one more cereal box... he thought. And as he turned towards the shelf he crashed into someone. Damn this clumsiness! he thought. It was a woman, quite a pretty one. He realized she was apologizing.
"No no, I'm fine. Don't apologize, it was my fault. I should have looked where I was going in the first place. I'm quite clumsy sometimes, I'm very sorry about that." Matt apologized himself as it was mostly his fault, he figured. .

Renae shook her head. "I should have watched where I was going. It's not your fault."
She stooped to pick up her shopping bag, which had fallen from her hand when she had smacked into the quite attractive stranger. She straightened up with a shrug. "I'm sure you're nowhere near as clumsy as I am."
She smiled, offering her free hand. "I'm Renae."

Matt smiled back. Then he shook her hand. "I'm Matt, nice to meet you."[/color] Matt grinned. She was quite pretty; as were a lot of girls he met, on and off set. At least he wasn't blushing, as per usual. It was embarrassing how much he blushed when around girls.

I'm Matt, nice to meet you.
"Well, Matt," Renae smiled, "I'd better keep shopping. If I don't get some milk there'll be no point to the cereal."
She turned away and took a few steps before she paused. Glancing back over her shoulder she added, "And it was nice meeting you too. I guess we might run into each other again, pun intended."
