She suddenly isn't teasing him as much and she sees him in a new light. Freddie, Carly, Spencer and everyone who knows Sam's loathing for Freddie are pretty concerned for her because she's acting different. Freddie thought it could be the kiss but he dismissed it - despite him not being able to stop thinking about it either.
