Preperations (Kaz)

[Amy]

Amy stood outside the door and slowly knocked. Today she was meeting up with the most amazing and kind person on the earth, Kaz. Aparently they were going to something important to do with Kaz's job and the name Amy. So this morning Amy had ran along the streets, quitely in the early morning mist that had risen up from the Thames over the night. No one had really seen her, but it was probably seen on some sort of camera that they had to look out for the bad people. The cameras that Govner Holmes' brother owned.

But now she was at the door, panting slightly and it was just coming up for midday. Amy's stomach rumbled, she hadn't eaten although she had money to spare now (it was carefully curled up in her socks) which now had a good pair of boots over the top. The new boots should last her several good years and be most welcome for the winter. Amy just loved the boots and took so much care of them. Knocking on the door once more Amy smiled and looked proudly back down at her new boots which she had mostly de-mud-ified with her fingers.

[Karen 'Kaz' McKay]

Karen was darting through her apartment in her robe, hair and make-up already done, making sure everything was in place. Their - her and little Amy's, a girl who Karen was ridiculously fond of and felt like smothering with love and hugs 'till the end of time - outfits were laid out on the bed. Kaz hoped she had picked out a pretty outfit for Amy, and that she'd like it.

There was a knock on the door and Kaz knew exactly who it was. She practically ran to the door and opened it, grinning widely at the little girl. "Amy!" the ginger squealed, bending down to hug her tightly. She pulled back, still grinning. "Love the boots," Karen winked before stepping aside, gesturing for Amy to come in. "After you, ma'am."

[Amy]

As the door suddenly opened, Amy jumped, but it was Kaz there and a massive smile lit upon the young girl's face.
"Amy!" Amy leaned up to hug Kaz back as the older woman bent down to hug her. Amy loved the hugs that Kaz gave her, she couldn't remember being this close to a person. It felt nice. Amy's stomach rumbled slightly as they hugged, but Amy ignored it, she had had much worse before and today was Kaz's important day.
"Love the boots,"
"I just got them, they should last me forever! And it's all thanks to you, Kaz!" Amy beamed, giving Kaz another hug in thanks.

"After you, ma'am." Kaz said and Amy walked into the house and breathed in. It always smelt so clean and nice in here and she loved it. Nothing was as amazing and Kaz's home.
"Thank you, how are you?" She asked politely, taking in another deep breath and smiling in bliss.
"Your house is amazing." The young girl siged, relaxing. It was beginning to feel like this was the best place in the world to Amy.

[Karen 'Kaz' McKay]

"I just got them, they should last me forever! And it's all thanks to you, Kaz!"

Karen chuckled, ruffling the girl's hair after she had closed her front door. "You'll get loads more where that came from, sweetie," Karen said as she followed the girl further into her flat.

"Thank you, how are you?"[/color] the girl asked politely and Karen's heart practically melted. "I'm excited! Tonight's going to be brilliant."

Karen remembered the grumbling from Amy's stomach and made her way into the kitchen. "Do you quickly want to eat something? Sorry, your stomach kind of gave you away," she smiled.

[Amy]

"You'll get loads more where that came from, sweetie," Amy smiled at Kaz and gave her yet another hug. Amy could swear that hugs were addictive.
"You are amazing. And this is going to be all about you, this day!" Amy practically danced around the room as she thought about how exciting this was. It was going to be amazing. A whole day about Kaz!
"I'm excited! Tonight's going to be brilliant."
"Of course it is, it is going to be all about you!" Amy grinned.

"Do you quickly want to eat something? Sorry, your stomach kind of gave you away,"
"Food would be good, I didn't eat this morning. I rushed over." Amy explained, looking down at her new boots. They were just so shiny and warm! And they were thanks to Kaz!

[Karen 'Kaz' McKay]

Amy's enthusiasm and excitement seemed too much to be contained in her little body. Karen couldn't stop smiling as she walked around the kitchen, quickly making Amy a sandwich. "It's not all going to be about me. Yes, it is my first episode, but it's also my co-stars. Plus! You'll be there and everyone will be looking at you because you will be gorgeous. Oh! Did I mention the dress I bought you?"

[Amy]

Did I mention the dress I bought you?" Amy blinked as she thought that other people might be there. How strange that idea was. That it wouldn't all be about her amazing friend.
"There will be other people as well doing what you do?" She asked, wondering what they would be like.
"And I get to wear a dress?" Amy had never worn a dress in her life.

[Karen 'Kaz' McKay]

Karen nodded, finishing off the sandwich and putting it, on a plate with a glass of lemon juice, in front of Amy. "Of course," Kaz said, bubbly. "Some really good friends. They're awesome. And they will absolutely adore you."

Kaz paused for a second. "You know this is going to be a very public thing, right? There's going to be a, uhm, place for us to walk, and I'll sign autographs, and people will be taking pictures, throwing questions at you, you sure you're up for that?" she asked, not really sure if she herself was.

'And I get to wear a dress?' she asked and Karen grinned. "It's the white one on my bed," she said, gesturing with her head to her bedroom door.

[Amy]

When food was placed infront of her, Amy waited a second before hungrily diving in, eating quickly, but neatly. "Of course, Some really good friends. They're awesome. And they will absolutely adore you."
"I'm sure that they will be brilliant." Amy said, finishing eating and dusting her fingers off over the plate. It was so posh, Kaz had plates for sandwiches!
"You know this is going to be a very public thing, right? There's going to be a, uhm, place for us to walk, and I'll sign autographs, and people will be taking pictures, throwing questions at you, you sure you're up for that?"
Amy shrugged, she worked for Sherlock Holmes, she could handle people.
"I'll be fine." She said, laying on her cockney accent a bit.

"It's the white one on my bed," At that Amy rushed towards the bedroom and stared in amazement at the dress, it was so pretty and lovely.
"I 'ope you didn' pay too much for it." Amy said as she stared at the dress in wonder. It looked so beautiful.
