Molly had just finished work, and she was heading back to her house. After getting changed, though, she planned to go out again, wearing some new girly clothes she'd bought. She was only going to go for a walk, to think, but nevertheless she was looking forward to it. After all...clearing her head was something Molly enjoyed doing. It allowed her to stop worrying, and just enjoy life. After all, she'd only ever live one life...well, at least she'd only live one life as Molly Hooper. Molly entered her flat, got changed, fed Toby quickly and left again. She wasn't sure where she was headed, exactly, she just let her legs carry her.
Molly was secretly very glad she'd taught herself to walk properly in heels, so at least she didn't look like a total idiot. Well, hopefully she didn't. She'd let her hair loose, just to try it out. Okay, so maybe Molly just wanted to be seen as...well, not boring Molly Hooper who never did anything daring and who wasn't even remotely pretty. She wanted to be seen...well, like her best friend, Kaz, was seen. Though she was a TV star and she looked perfect. Molly, on the other hand, didn't.
As Molly walked, she let the sounds of the environment fill her ears. Birds tweeting, leaves rustling as a tiny breeze swept over, branches falling (very occasionally). Life was, Molly thought to herself as she went, very beautiful if you looked at it the right way. The sounds of nature were calming...that is if you're not disturbed by a speeding car passing by and nearly hitting you when you cross the road. Molly sighed crossly after the car and looked left and right before she crossed and continued on her way.
The idea of visiting Sherlock appeared in Molly's mind, but she decided against it; after all, why should she go running to him just because she was walking? She should just relax. Anyway, how was she supposed to get over this crush on him if she kept going to see him? He will never like you that way. Molly reminded herself for the tenth time in about a week. Being friends is so much easier, and it's better than nothing. She added quickly. After all...friendship was more important than love. Always.
