It's the fifth year of Hogwarts.
Students are starting to vanish. The Gamekeeper, known as Hagrid, has also disappeared. Hogwarts students and professors are beginning to feel uncomfortable and scared. Some students reappear, and they have lost their memory. Most though...they don't come back. People, not only students and wizards, are being stolen off the streets and everyone suspects the Death Eaters. And of course, it is them. They are rising to power, and Voldemort is stronger than ever. His plan is brewing away, but nobody except him knows what the plan is, not even his most faithful Death Eaters.
Meanwhile, back at Hogwarts, Dolores Umbridge is taking over and nobody is attempting to do anything about it. Dumbledore has vanished, and everyone assumes he's been taken such as a lot of others. Umbridge is securing the school, with help of the Ministry and other professors, but mostly when students go out, they are snatched and they don't return. Dumbledore's Army hasn't been discovered, although some of the students are having a change of heart, such as Hermione Granger...
