Emma sighed to herself, as she downed yet another glass of wine. She was at her friend’s engagement party, and was ever so slowly getting piss drunk. The pathologist glanced around the room, letting out a small groan. All of her friends seemed to be married now, or in a relationship. The young woman ran a hand through her hair and made her way onto the dance floor, absent mindedly dancing with herself. Before one of her favourite songs came on, and she started to dance like she didn’t care if anyone saw her, or what they thought. Emma was too lost in the music to care, as someone came up behind her, grinning to himself.
