Sara slipped away from the police station, smirking. She'd escaped. After having being turned in by that detective Holmes, she'd been in prison. But Sara had escaped. She walked down the street. She popped some blackberry gum in her mouth, fresh from the packet, and chewed it thoughtfully as she walked.
That detective was going to pay for what he did, she vowed. This time, her gun was deep in her pocket and invisible. As she walked, she wondered how she would get her revenge. Kidnap someone close to him? Maybe. Put that on hold for now.
Iris by the Goo Goo Dolls began to play from Sara's phone. She flipped it up. "Hello. Yes, I'm out. I'll be back soon. And make sure Jeffrey is there. He and I need to have a serious talk about picking people up on time." Sara said. Then she hung up, putting her phone in her pocket.
Sara kept walking, looking round, and picked up a newspaper from a wall, sitting on a bench to read it. Holmes again?! She read a few lines, then tore the newspaper, letting it blow away in the wind. Curse him! Sara thought.

Moriarty was just out for a stroll. He didn't often take one, but he didn't have any pressing engagements this afternoon. So he decided to have a quick walk, occasionally checking his phone for any updates. But there were barely any. So he smiled and enjoyed the sunny day.
What? Criminals had favourite things to do other than killing and what-not.
As he walked, his eyes caught a woman walking in front of him. He managed to catch a glance of her face when she stopped to pick up a newspaper, and she instantly reminded him of someone. But who? Moriarty took some time to remember...
Then he did. Seraphina Blake. A woman well-known to quite a bit of London's criminal life. And since Moriarty was in charge of most of that, of course he heard of her as well. He'd thought about employing her services once or twice, but had never reached an overall decision. Perhaps this was an ideal opportunity to find out more? If it was, he wasn't going to waist it.
He went up and sat on the bench beside her. "Afternoon, Miss Blake," he greeted.

Sara sighed a bit, and looked up at the sky. Clouds. It was an unexpectedly sunny day today. But Sara wasn't complaining, she liked sunny days, and often took some time off to appreciate them. After all, most of the time England was freezing cold.
"Afternoon, Miss Blake,"
Sara looked at the guy as he spoke. She recognized him almost instantly as James Moriarty, known as Jim. He was a criminal like her. She'd had a thought in prison, that when she escaped to contact him and ask him to help her get her revenge on Sherlock. After all, she knew they were arch enemies and the like.
"Afternoon, Mr Moriarty!" Sara greeted, smiling. Yes, she smiles. She's not evil to other evils.
Sara heard a police siren go past...and straight past without giving her a second glance! Ha, they hadn't noticed. Sara found that rather amusing, but she focused on Jim. She hadn't had a chance to talk to him before, and this was a great chance to get to know him a bit more. He was a criminal; that was good.

Moriarty returned Seraphina's smile. It was one of the few genuine smiles he ever wore, not like the ones he put on to lure people into a trap. No, it was genuine alright. He always was comfortable in the presence of fellow criminals. Ironically, some of them were the only people he could ever trust. Like Sebastian.
He didn't tense up or worry about the police car going past. It didn't matter if he got arrested, he'd get out of it easy enough. If he felt like it, he might even let them go on to a court case. Which he would just rig again. But that wasn't necessary today.
Once the car had gone, he finally spoke to Seraphina. "So how are you, Seraphina? Killed anyone recently?" Anyone would be appalled at him saying that, but for criminals, this was a normal opening line for a conversation.

Sara smiled. "Hmm, a few in prison...and before i went in I shot that stupid detective, Sherlock Holmes, but he obviously survived." she gestured to the newspaper. "I'll get him one day though. Anyway, what about you? Have you killed anyone recently?"

Moriarty raised his eyebrows. Well well, this was interesting. She had shot the great detective himself! How intriguing. "Oh, of course I have," he said in answer to Seraphina's question. "And injured, and robbed, and...oh you get the idea," he finished with a knowing smile. "So you met Sherlock Holmes? How did that go?"

Sara laughed a little. And she then rolled her eyes at the mention of Sherlock Holmes. "Very badly. He turned me into the police, plus he was very irritating. I hope I can get him back. Have you met him then?" Sara asked curiously.
