Sebastian Moran leaned against the wall of the cafe. Cigarette smoke puffed up from his open mouth as he exhaled, disappearing into the sky. His blonde bangs covered his eyes, and his coat collar was pulled up around his chin, making it more difficult to see his face. His sharp eyes, however, didn't miss a detail. He couldn't look at a stranger and immediately know their life story, like some of the "geniuses" in London, but he could certainly notice and categorize physical flaws and weaknesses. He had trained himself to know what injuries would be more effective to different people. Skills like that helped when you were a professional assassin. He quickly reviewed the most vital and vulnerable areas of the body in relation to the people passing by. Jugular, larynx, ribs, kidney...
Sebastian shook himself out of his thoughts. This was supposed to be "free time". Although there was never really a separation between job and lifestyle for someone like Sebastian, this was one of the few times he could relax. There was no one to kill, Jim wasn't sending him on any long or unneccessary seeming jobs... and though Seb relished the thrill of the chase, the rush of being "bad", he liked a bit of peace and quiet occasionally too.
Leaning back against the wall, he closed his eyes and was thankful he wasn't taking part in the bustle around him.

Karen needed a coffee. Strong coffee. She made her way into the cafe and, since the boy behind the counter was always so nice to her (although she assumed he had his reasons), she got her coffee and looked around. There wasn't any open tables but she noticed an opening next to a blonde man leaning against the cafe wall.
"Smoking kills, you know," Karen said ironically, smiling slightly as she stood next to him and took a sip of coffee.

Smoking kills, you know." Sebastian looked over in annoyance. While he had been resting his eyes, a caffeinated ginger had taken a place next to him. He glanced her up and down, then returned his eyes to the front, taking another deliberate drag from his cigarette. "Lots of things kill," he remarked, putting the cigarette out on the palm of his hand. He dropped the butt and returned his attention to the woman beside him.

"Lots of things kill," he remarked.
She quirked an eyebrow, small smile on her lips. "Spoken like a realist," she said softly, watching him put out a cigarette in the palm of his hand. "My name's Karen, by the way. And yours, tough guy?"

"Spoken like a realist." Sebastian smirked slightly and inclined his head in agreement. His eyes did not lose their distant focus. "My name's Karen, by the way. And yours, tough guy?" Seb looked at her warily and hesitated just a moment. He considered using a pseudonym, but quickly decided it wasn't neccessary. "Sebastian," he said shortly. "Or Seb, if you prefer." It was becoming clear that this woman was not going to leave him in peace. Besides, it had been awhile since he had spoken more than a passing word to a normal, legal person. He dug through his mind, trying to remember socially acceptable conversation points. "So... what is it you... do?"

Karen was just a little pleased that she had gotten a slight smirk out of the man.
"Sebastian, nice name."
"So... what is it you... do?"
This guy didn't get out often, did he? Karen smiled. "I'm a model, and to be actress. Got a big part I'm excited about. You?" she asked, curious to know what Sebastian did for a living.

"I'm a model, and to be actress. Got a big part I'm excited about. You? Seb raised an eyebrow, looking "Karen" up and down once more. Now he thought about it, she did have a model's physique. And vertainly had enough of an outgoing personality to be an actress. Then he mentally cursed. He had forgotten that a question into emplyment might bring one in return. He couldn't exactly say, 'Oh, I work for a criminal mastermind and I kill people for a living'. He cast around in his mind for something normal-seeming. "I'm in... sales." He quickly decided to change the subject again to avoid suspiscion. "What part did you get?" It was always good to learn about people, learn their strengths and weaknesses. As long as he managed to keep attention well enough off himself...

"I'm in... sales."
'Woah, what does he do? Scare people to buy stuff?' Kaz thought. 'It'd work on me...'
"What part did you get?" Seb asks.
"I'm not supposed to tell anyone, in case a reporter's listening, so you can just imagine how big it is," Karen grinned and took a sip of coffee, watching Seb.
