Karen walked through the park, taking a deep breath to inhale the fresh air. She had to get out of the flat; it was getting a bit cooped up and she was getting a bit stir crazy. As much as she loved staying home, she enjoyed being outside a lot more. She smiled at the people she passed and signed an autograph for a little girl who came running. The girl had given Karen a magazine to sign - the exact one where Karen was on the cover (she made a mental note to thank Rose, the magazine's editor, once again). She ran off with the signed magazine to a woman who was obviously her mum and jumped up and down of excitement. Karen laughed - she never thought she'd get to the point in her career where these things would happen to her. She watched the mother and the girl leave. Turning to leave, she jumped, almost bumping into someone she didn't know was standing next to her. |

Emma's Outfit [/color] Emma was walking around in the park, checking over things. It wasn't exactly being paranoid, but she had nothing else to do. She wasn't just checking things; she was also taking a walk. In the park, she loved the relaxed if a bit wild child atmosphere. She breathed in the air, smelling chips and...well, it just smelled so human. Yes, she was a human, but she often thought on references like that. Emma paused as she spotted someone. Oh, it was that woman off of that other woman's magazine. Ah, it was Karen McKay, the model. And the magazine editor was Rose Harrison. Emma herself enjoyed reading that magazine, especially the interview. Emma went over to Karen and smiled. However, she was busy, so Emma waited. "Sorry, you were busy so I waited until I spoke. You're that woman from the magazine by Rose Harrison, right? Kaz was it? My name is Emma Jackson, I'm a detective." Emma smiled politely. She always tried to be polite, and succeeded mostly. Sometimes she snapped, but that wasn't what she was going to do today. No need.

"Oh, hey!" Kaz replied brightly, she was very happy that people knew who she was. "Nice to meet you, Emma. And yeah, sorry for the wait, that was my first autograph. A bit... surreal." Kaz was practically glowing.

"Your first autograph? Wow, that must be a big deal for you!" Emma said with a smile. She'd signed an autograph before, a few actually, but her first was the best because it felt special. She got that feeling, she understood. It really was amazing, the feeling.

"It's pretty special, yeah. But with the new job I've gotten, I suspect I'll be a lot busier signing autographs," Karen said, then remembered she wasn't supposed to talk about it. It was a huge roll in a huge show and the producers have asked her to keep quiet, not wanting the press to get a hold of it. "So, er, you're a detective? That must be fun, I live next to a detective but he's just grumpy all the time. Good to see there are detectives who, you know, smile."
