Karen really felt for the girl. She would probably never understand what it must be like... "Well, I am just overflowing with hugs, so if you ever need one you know who to call," Karen winked.

"Well, I am just overflowing with hugs, so if you ever need one you know who to call," Amy blinked in confusion. "I... aren't you..." Amy said, unable to form a proper sentence. Even the old man and Sherlock, the two people who helped keep her alive, although incredibly behind the scenes, where not this kind. "But you're famous. They don't give hugs... they stay behind scenes." She muttered, her cheeks turning pink with embarresment.

"I might be famous, but that just means I've got more to give," Karen said, walking over to Amy and putting a lock of her hair behind her ear. "What do you mean 'stay behind scenes', sweetie?"

"I might be famous, but that just means I've got more to give," Amy blinked and cocked her head. "What about your family? Do they not visit for hugs?" Amy asked. Didn't people in normal families have loads of hugs to give. "What do you mean 'stay behind scenes', sweetie?" "Y'know? They give money but don't really go out to see them. They just work out of sight." She said, looking down at her feet. Most of the time it was aimed towards other countries, anyway.

"What about your family? Do they not visit for hugs?"
"Well, yeah, but they're all the way in Scotland and come visit way too little to absorb all my hugs," Karen said, smiled and got some food out of the fridge to prepare.
"Y'know? They give money but don't really go out to see them. They just work out of sight."
"Do you prefer it like that?" Kaz asked, wondering if she had crossed a line.

"Well, yeah, but they're all the way in Scotland and come visit way too little to absorb all my hugs," Amy racked her brains, trying to remember what Scotland was. Wasn't it really far away? But part of Britain? "That's really far away, isn't it?" She asked. "Like France. France is also far away." She said. Her geography of areas outside a certain range in London was terible.
Amy watched as Kaz prepared food, her brown eyes curious. She had never seen food prepared before. it just appeared when she paid for it. "Do you prefer it like that?" Shaking her head, Amy thought for a second before replying. "The money isusually for other poor people, from what I hear. And it never really does much help when it does come our way. We're fine with just a few coins to keep us livin' on. But I enjoybeing here with you. Its different to everyone else. Different is nice."

"That's really far away, isn't it?" She asked. "Like France. France is also far away."
"It's kind of far, but not that much. Still too much. I miss them," Karen said with a small sad smile, stirring the mince for the lasagne.

"And it's nice having you here, too, Amy," Kaz smiled and moved around the kitchen, further preparing the food. "You can start looking for the monies, if you want."
She winked. While Amy was in the shower, Kaz had hid a few coins and a fair share of quid notes around the flat. Underneath Amy's pillow was a fifty, which Kaz hoped would end the day well once Amy decided to go sleep.

"It's kind of far, but not that much. Still too much. I miss them," Amy looked thoughtful. "I miss my Mum very much. She went far away. I don't miss Father." She said. her Mum was dead, father had killed her. Amy had no idea what had happened to him, but she didn't have to stay with him any more, she lived by herself.
"And it's nice having you here, too, Amy," Amy grinned. "Well, if you ever need someone around to keep you company, I'm mostly local. Within a few miles, usualy." Amy replied. Sometimes she got sent further afield, but generally it was in the local area, which Amy prefered. She knew it like the back of her hend. "You can start looking for the monies, if you want."
Nodding, Amy looked around the room, her gaze sweeping over everything, looking for likely places for coins to be hidden. Her eyes fell upon a book case and she moved over there, looking for any gaps between books to show a coin, or a coin on top. "I can read, y'know. I was taught hwo to read from 'The Lord of the Rings'." She said as she looked around the books.

"I've got that 'round here somewhere," Kaz said, having (by chance) hidden a twenty pound note in the book.

"I've got that 'round here somewhere," Amy nodded and she looked around, searching for the book. "Are you planning on getting more important in the model world? Because you were on a magazine, that's good." Amy said, casually. Finding Lord of the Rings, Amy smiled and took it down, her eyes looking over the cover, she opene it and found a twenty pound note and her eyes widened. So much. It would be able to keep her going for months! Rushing forwards, she hugged Kaz closely. "It's so much money!" She exclaimed.

Karen stirred the mince and smiled, "Nah. Focussing more on the acting biz. But modelling, too. Just for fun. Not for a living."
Next thing she knew, Amy rushed forwards and hugged her closely, twenty pound in hand. Karen laughed and hugged her back, "It's a pleasure, sweetie. You deserve it. But there's lot more where that came from," Kaz winked and nodded towards the living room.

"Nah. Focussing more on the acting biz. But modelling, too. Just for fun. Not for a living." Amy blinked and cocked her head curiously as Kaz mentioned acting. "Will you be doing live air performances or things like that? I can always sneak into those." She said. It wasn't often that she chose to sneak in and certainly not the easiest of things, but Amy thought that she might go along if Kaz was there, to support her or to see what she was like acting.
As she huged kaz, Amy leaned against the model and listened to her heart beat. It was soething she hadn't done for ages, but the beat of the heart was something she enjoyed listening to. it was comforting. Homely. "It's a pleasure, sweetie. You deserve it. But there's lot more where that came from," As Kaz spoke, Amy gave a small smile, speaking when you could hear the vibrations through the body always sounded a little funny. Stepping back, she looked up at Kaz. "But this is so much, how do you have it to spare?" Amy asked in wonder.

"Will you be doing live air performances or things like that? I can always sneak into those."
Karen smiled and hugged Amy even tighter. "If I do have something like that, love, you don't have to sneak in. I will buy you a ticket and a dress as pretty as you are." Karen brushed a lock of hair out of Amy's face. She paused. "Do you know what my character's name is, sweetie?" Karen asked before almost whispering, "Her name is Amy."
"But this is so much, how do you have it to spare?"
Karen had more than enough money; her modelling career, a deal with Mycroft Holmes and the money she got from Doctor Who was more than she knew what to do with. Which was why she had an extra room in her house just for her clothes.
"I have more than enough and you need it more than I ever will."

"If I do have something like that, love, you don't have to sneak in. I will buy you a ticket and a dress as pretty as you are." Amy beamed as she stared up at Kaz. "Its so much, though! I can't repay you!" She said, wondering if Kaz needed something in return. As far as Amy was aware everything was done with a desire to help oneself. Sherlock needed information to give out money, for there to be visible work. Yes a few people would give out money, but never this much. It was jsut too perfect.
"Do you know what my character's name is, sweetie?" Amy shook her head, wondering what the answer would be. "Her name is Amy." Amy blinked, then a big smile came across her face. "Is it a live performance? Can I visit?" She asked, hopefully. She'd never seen a character with the same name as her performed. Then again, it was hard to get into performances and she usually had more work and money scrounging to do. "I have more than enough and you need it more than I ever will."
Amy blinked back tears of joy and happiness. "Its so much. You must be relaly rich. Why don't you live in a palace or somethin' like that?" She asked, curiously. Surely someone with 20 pounds to spare to a worthless homeless child would be living like royalty. Amy gave a small smile, then looked around the room again. "That is it. There isn't any more money, is there?" Amy checked. No one could spare more money on her, she was sure of that.

"Its so much, though! I can't repay you!"
"Sweetie, you don't have to. You deserve everything I'm giving you and more." Karen really had a lot of money and she honestly wanted to help Amy. She was so sweet and deserved it.
"Is it a live performance? Can I visit?" Amy asked and Karen smiled.
"Well, no, but there is going to be a screening of the episode I'm sure I'll be able to get you a ticket for. You'll be next to me the whole time."
"Its so much. You must be really rich. Why don't you live in a palace or somethin' like that?"
"Nah, I've never seen the appeal of it all. I like my flat here, so why move? To show off? No thanks. I'd rather just help you. And, you know, go shopping." Karen joked.
"That is it. There isn't any more money, is there?"
Karen smiled as she remembered the 50 pound note she tucked underneath Amy's pillow. And she was leaving that as a surprise. "No, that's it."
PING!!! went the oven. "Oooh, food's ready!" she said excitedly and hugged Amy tighter and lifted her up and put her down on a dining room chair, laughing.
